Meet the Speakers for Shalom
Ulli Klemm is an ordained Mennonite pastor who attends Slate Hill Mennonite Church in Camp Hill, PA. In 2002, he discovered the joy of relating to persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities and has embraced these dear friends ever since. Whether spearheading monthly activities with persons with disabilities in group homes, orchestrating special outings or volunteering at special needs' camps, Ulli feels blessed to be welcomed into the lives of those who have so much to teach us.
Here's a word from Lisa Miller:
I'm excited to help with devotions at Shalom this year. I am a close neighbor to Camp Hebron for the past ten years, I believe in this valuable ministry, starting here as a camper and later serving on summer staff of 1987. Special needs people are near to my heart and are a part of my daily employment as a Special Education teacher in the Susquenita School District. I worship and serve in ministries at the Word of Life Chapel in Halifax, and have for the past two decades. As a native of Blue Ball and a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School, I've traded farmlands for the forest, residing locally with my husband and three teenagers. I look forward to meeting the Shalom campers in June as we learn about our great God!
