Speaker: Mike Ford
Arnold and Monica have been serving as co-pastors at TriLife Church in Worcester, Massachusetts for over two years. Previously, they pastored in Maryland for 13 years and were church planters in Delaware for 4 years before God moved them to MA. They have been married for over 30 years, have six children and two granddaughters. They have served God through marriage/couples ministry, hosting and leading small groups, men’s, women’s, youth and kids ministry, and urban ministry. During their years in ministry they have learned the church has the most impact when they are empowered to manage the small things so big God moments can happen.
Coming into the realization that the iGeneration, or generation Zers, are coming of age to learn how to serve God in leadership roles, we are asking ourselves if generation X has taught them what they need to know to carry on God’s commands for future generations? The author of Judges wrote that a whole generation after Joshua grew up not knowing God or what He has done. Today, statistics show that 13% of iGeneration identify as atheist, which is double the amount of adults. Our hearts are to teach preceding generations to reach the next generations with the Gospel we have been entrusted and instructed to pass on. We want the next generation to discover what it means to disciple in the 21st century so the baton does not get dropped.
Worship: SamSons Trio
All three of us have a Dad named Sam. Quinten and Morgan are brothers and their dad is the youth pastor and a worship leader at our church which is where we started playing music together. Cameron's Dad is a hardworking, faithful Christ-follower who also helps with the youth group. So growing up we spent a lot of time being crazy kids together, having the time of our lives. Now we have different and more scattered lives, but leading worship at our church keeps us connected. We are young adults and we love to worship Jesus!
