Space for silence and quiet will be offered for those who wish to take a step back from ordinary life and find rest. Other free time options include crafts, games, horseback riding* and massages*. Our Theme: The Joy of Seeking God First

Anita Keagy, founder of JoyShop Ministries, invites you to discover the joy found in Seeking God First! Through Anita’s unique and gripping redemptive story, you will be inspired and challenged to look at God’s word in a new light. Leave motivated and equipped with tools to prioritize daily time with God daily, driven by love for Him not obligation.

Speaker: Anita Keagy

Anita Keagy has one passionate mission: To inspire people to prioritize spending time with God every day through Bible reading and prayer. She travels nationwide and internationally, sharing her dynamic message at conferences, retreats, schools, colleges, and churches. Anita is the author of "The File: A Mother and Child’s Life-Changing Reunion", the newly released book “Seeking God First: A Practical Plan for Finding Joy and Peace in Him”, as well as a six session DVD series, "Seeking God First," found on RightNow Media and other platforms. Anita Keagy lives in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Paul and is the mother of 5 adult children, 14 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Worship Leader: Stephanie Thorn

Stephanie Thorn is a divorced, imperfect, passionate lover of Jesus and mother of three children-  ages 9, 8, and 5.  She is a worship leader and the director of Student Ministry and Counseling ministry at Hillside Christian Fellowship Church in Millersburg, PA. Stephanie’s deepest desire is to see Jesus receive the praise and honor that He is due on the earth. For the past year, Stephanie has been pioneering a Holy-Spirit birthed, local worship initiative, within the community of Millersburg, called the Living Room Worship Project. The  aim of LRWP is to ignite a movement of worship that begins and remains outside of the walls of the church- in the neighborhoods across Millersburg and the surrounding valley.

In addition, Stephanie holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Messiah College. In this capacity, she works part-time with a Christian private practice providing professional counseling services in Halifax, PA and teaches clinical trainings for the PA Department of Drug and Alcohol programs across the state. Stephanie enjoys music, good coffee, playing with her children, hosting friends, spending time alone with God, traveling/exploring, reading, writing, and inspiring people to pursue a deeper intimacy with Jesus!
