A family vacation designed to connect your family with God, nature and each other

Speaker: Joshua Gish

Joshua Gish grew up coming to Family Camp at Camp Hebron, where many foundational memories were made.  He and his wife, Janelle have 6 children and have been attending Family Camp with their own family since 2023.  He has been serving as Lead Pastor at Elizabethtown Mennonite Church, in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania since 2024.  In his spare time, he also is a Trauma Surgeon at a local hospital.

Josh’s greatest hope for this week is that everyone would experience the presence of God in a real way – that faith would arise and be strengthened by the Spirit speaking through His Word and through each other.  He is praying that the Spirit would be drawing and preparing each person for what He will accomplish.

In addition to looking forward to the dedicated spiritual times, Josh and Janelle look forward to Family Camp as a time to connect as a family and meet up with friends.  Highlights from previous years are playing board games, Gold Rush, Ultimate Frisbee, Slip and Slide, and hiking Peters Mountain.

Our family always enjoys the time spent at Camp Hebron. The staff is amazing and love the way they connect with families. It’s been a positive experience and we plan to return next year!
