Did you know these beautiful, dinosaur-like birds live on Camp Hebron’s property? We have around 8-12 nests on site, and as their chicks start to hatch, their nests become very active.
Come on out to our property on May 28th at 7 PM to learn more about these birds and witness some of their unique behaviors. We’ll meet in Hemlock Meeting Room above the gym for a short informational session, then walk up to see the birds.
The walk is about 5 minutes over uneven ground, so please wear sturdy shoes. Binoculars are recommended if you have them. All ages are welcome; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
