Shalom is an exciting week full of activities, laughter, and friendships for adults with developmental disabilities.

Yes. We can accept payments from other organizations after camp. Please, let us know if this is applicable for your camper and if you need a specific type of invoice.
You'll still need to submit your $50 deposit when you register. We can refund the $50, assuming the cost of camp is paid-in-full by another organization.

Campers will have the opportunity to go to the Gift Shop once per week.
This is their opportunity to buy a special snack, drink, or Camp Hebron merch. Snacks and drinks range from $1-$2. T-shirts and sweatshirts range from $15-$25.

Typically, we try to keep a small camper to counselor ratio. Ideally, there are 2 or 3 campers with every 1 counselor.
Our counselors aren't trained professionals. Rather, they are young adults who are willing and ready to serve and connect with your camper.

Let's have a conversation. Your Shalom application and medical form are a helpful way for us to learn a bit about your camper.
If your camper requires some extra care or support, please, let us know. We have some volunteers and resources who may be able to provide that care. Or, we are happy to accommodate an extra "buddy" who is already familiar and working with your camper at home.
Our goal is for camper's to have an excellent week and we're excited for the opportunity to help that happen!

We have a wonderful team of nurses who serve with Shalom. Our nurses will administer all medications at camp.
Please, bring your medications in individual dosage packages or PillPacks.
Ulli Klemm
Ulli Klemm returns to Shalom Camp with a heart which embraces those with special needs. During lively, creative and inclusive worship sessions, campers are invited to help Ulli as he leads songs with his guitar, don props for Bible skits, come to the microphone to offer simply prayers and/or to sit back and take it all in. By day, Ulli serves as the head correctional chaplain for the PA Dept. of Corrections. He has immersed himself as a volunteer in the lives of those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities for over 20 years. He is a member of Landisville Mennonite Church in Landisville, PA.
