Our Famous Baked Oatmeal

Baked oatmeal is a favorite at Camp Hebron — perfect on a cold morning by the fireplace or as fuel for hiking up Peter's Mountain. Warm, hearty, and filling, it’s a delicious and energizing start to the day for campers and retreat guests.                                   

We invite you to take a piece of Camp with you and try making some at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup oil

  • 2 1/4 cup sugar

  • 5 eggs

  • 6 3/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1 1/2 T baking powder

  • 2 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 1/4 cups milk


Combine all ingredients together and mix well.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
