Camp Hebron is the Best

Camp Hebron for me has been so much fun

I enjoy all the people as we play in the sun.

Whether swimming or hiking or riding a horse,

we remain connected to God for he is the source.

At night by campfire we sing silly songs,

The time we spent together makes our group strong.

At vespers we praise and worship and sing,

we pour out our hearts to our father and king.

The food is great and breakfast is the best,

it fuels up our bodies and prepares us to quest.

My favorite thing was riding the horse,

she was confident and calm as she led through the course.

While climbing up rocks with harness and rope,

we ascended the slope with a lot of great hope.

We splash in the pool and the slide is so fast,

it makes you feel like you're going to return to the past.

Out on the lake the counselors flip our boats,

fortunately for us life jackets keep us afloat.

This camp has found a special place in my heart,

its memories remain even though we depart.

On the car ride back home, in need of some rest,

I think about camp Hebron, and how it’s the best.
