Looking for an excursion during your stay at Camp Hebron? After you've enjoyed activities such as hiking our scenic trails and enjoying a trail ride on horseback, check out these fantastic options nearby: 

1. Lake Tobias - Nestled in the quiet country-side just 15 minutes from Camp Hebron, Lake Tobias resounds with the sights and sounds of the jungles and grasslands of six continents. You'll enjoy Safari tours, a great petting zoo and plenty of creepy reptiles.  

2. Ned Smith Center - 20 minutes North of Camp Hebron you'll find the Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art, which hosts several impressive art galleries, an extensive trail network, and a variety of cultural events. 

3. Millersburg Ferry - When you're finished at Ned Smith, take a quick 5 minute drive to the river, where you'll find the oldest transportation system in Pennsylvania: the Millersburg Ferry Boat. Drive your car right onto the Ferry and take an enjoyable ride across the Susquehanna. 

4. Golf or Ski - Willing to travel a few extra miles? Take a scenic 25 minute drive north and you'll find yourself enjoying the links at Lykens Valley Golf Resort, located in a picturesque country setting just north of Millersburg. When the weather turns cold, head south instead to Roundtop Mountain Resort for great skiing and snowboarding. 

5. Harrisburg Senators - Take in a baseball game at Metro Bank Park on Harrisburg City Island, a quick 30 minute drive from Camp Hebron. It's going, going, gone!!!

6. Sky Zone Trampoline Park - Youth groups & children of all ages will enjoy this indoor trampoline park in Harrisburg, PA, about a half hour away from Camp.

7. Giant Center - A forty minute drive will get you to Hershey, PA, where you'll find great concerts, shows, and Hershey Bears hockey games at the Giant Center. And of course there's always Hershey Park.
