A family vacation designed to connect your family with God, nature and each other

Speaker: George DeVol

Pastor George DeVol grew up in South Jersey and came to know Jesus as his savior at the age of 16. He immediately felt called to the ministry and began pursuing opportunities to serve. George attended Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia Biblical University), where he received a BS in Bible with a specialty in Youth Ministry and eventually an MS in Bible. George met his wife Shannon in 1999 while working at a Christian camp. They married in 2001 and have five children.  George enjoyed 15 years in full-time youth ministry, the majority of it at Laurel Hill Bible Church in Clementon, NJ. During his time as a youth and family pastor, he and Shannon have been privileged to mentor and teach the Bible to kids, teens, and families, many of whom have pursued biblical education, full-time ministry, and have maintained committed walks with the Lord.  For the past 8 years, he has served as the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Cape May.  George and Shannon enjoy hiking, traveling, serving the Lord together.

Our family always enjoys the time spent at Camp Hebron. The staff is amazing and love the way they connect with families. It’s been a positive experience and we plan to return next year!
