Our four-legged staff work hard: providing trail rides, teaching riding lessons, being willing participants in grooming competitions, and brightening guests’ and campers’ days.

Suggested Monthly Donations:

  • $50/month provides food, farrier, and basic supplements

  • $75/month provides food, special shoes, medications

  • $150/month provides food, tack, special dietary needs, veterinary needs

Your support helps us provide the best care possible for our horses and barn. Our barn staff are working to provide excellence in our horsemanship programming, while managing the barn in a sustainable and effective manner. We are grateful for your support as we work to meet our goals through our barn programs.

To sponsor a horse, visit our online giving portal, select “Monthly Giving,” enter your monthly donation amount, write your chosen horse’s name in Donation Note, and select “Stable Stewards” under Giving Option. One-time gifts are welcome too.

Meet Our Horses

  • Bo

    Bo is a go-to lesson horse here for just about anything. He is slow and patient with riders of all different levels and is often used for teaching our more timid riders the basics of riding.

  • Bonnie

    Bonnie is a fun horse for our staff to ride on the trails. She is brave and confident in the front of the line and good at teaching riders to be soft in their aids, relying mostly on seat and voice to direct their horse.

  • Classy

    Classy is a sweet girl that enjoys a good trail ride. She is great at teaching riders to remain soft in their aids when working on their skills in the arena!

  • Faye

    Faye is brave, steady, and patient both in the arena and out on the trails. She takes life slower at her own pace and has been great for packing around beginner riders both in the arena and out on the trail!

  • Fish

    Fish loves to trail ride and is very dependable no matter who is on his back. He also loves to play with anything in the arena and always brings a smile to our faces.

  • Jeb

    Jeb has three smooth, slow gaits great for teaching beginners the ropes in the arena. He also occasionally enjoys a good swim in the lake with the staff and loves to be doted on by anyone willing to give him scratches!

  • Hannah

    Hannah loves taking little kids out on a trail ride and is very patient when teaching them important groundwork skills. She is always very gentle with the kids and loves attention and a good grooming.

  • Mabel

    Mabel is an amazing trail horse and is calm and confident no matter what. She is one of our biggest horses but also comes with the biggest heart and tries her best at everything that she does!

  • Noble

    Noble enjoys a good stroll out on the trail and is nice and slow. He is very sweet and takes good care of his riders.

  • Phil

    Phil has been a great partner for our more timid riders and he takes excellent care of everyone in the arena and out on the trails. Phil is easily recognizable to many with his flowing white mane and tail!

  • Ranger

    Ranger is a favorite among staff here. Though he is short in stature, he is a brave and trustworthy mount for trail rides. He also enjoys a good hand-led with the little kids.

  • Smokey

    Smokey is a great horse for teaching kids in the arena and carries riders of all levels. He takes great care of our beginner riders just learning the ropes, but also is sensitive enough to help more advanced riders with refining their aids.

  • Spot

    Spot is a wonderful trail horse and always looks forward to a nice relaxing stroll outside. He takes care of riders at all different levels and loves forehead scratches after every ride.
