notice is provided to help you understand our policies and procedures in
relation to privacy issues, with special consideration for children under
the age of 14.
This privacy
policy will identify when and how we collect, use, share and safeguard
information using this website. It also describes how to review, correct or
discontinue the collection of this information.

What information do we collect
and how do we use it?
All personally

the user. Personally identifiable information includes name, address,
contact information and other descriptive information such as age and
gender.
Contact
Information: Camp Hebron collects and maintains a database with full
contact information on all users of camp. This is accomplished through the
registration form or the contact information form. This information is used
to build our mailing list. Users may receive newsletters, fund raising
requests and promotional materials for camp programs and facilities.
A user can ask
to be removed from the list and will be placed on inactive status for the
mailings at that time. Because mailing lists may already be printed, it could
take 2-4 weeks before mail from Camp Hebron is no longer received. Users may
stipulate that they do not wish to be added to the mailing list in which case
they will only receive the specific information requested. All other contacts
may be added to the data base. This information is not released to outside sources
and will not be sold as a mailing list.
Research Development and
Marketing: This information is collected
in aggregate via the server. It gives general information on utilization of
the site and does not identify individuals.
Health
Information: Camp Hebron does not request health information via the
internet. A signed health form is required for all campers that are placed into
“residential” custody of Camp Hebron staff. This information is confined to
that which will help the staff to safely serve the campers. Access is
restricted to those who need to know. Forms are maintained in a secure
location and maintained in confidence for as long as required by law.
Follow-up Information:
Camp Hebron is a Christian camping
facility with programming that introduces campers to the love of Christ and
encourages deeper relationship with Him. We believe that follow up is
essential when a significant spiritual movement is made. For this reason,
Camp requests information related to home church and pastor. Parents may
stipulate against this contact. That stipulation should be made in writing
and addressed to Program Director, Camp Hebron, Inc.,
957 Camp Hebron Road, Halifax, PA 17032.
How do we handle contacts with
children under the age of 14?
The site indicates that children should
have parental permission prior to submitting personal information. Direct
requests for specific information will be processed without
collecting/keeping information. Registrations require a major credit card
which will be considered verifiable parental consent for the submission of
the registration information.
Parents have the right to review any
information submitted to Camp Hebron in this manner and may ask for its
removal by placing their request in writing and addressing it to Executive Director, Camp Hebron, Inc., 957 Camp Hebron Road, Halifax, PA 17032.
Privacy &
the Internet
Image
Protection: The camper registration form contains a release clause for
the use of camper’s photographic images in publicity. Camp Hebron uses
pictures in both printed and electronic formats. Camp Hebron will protect
children by refraining from identifying any child by name in any media
without parental consent. Parent or
camper has the right to refuse this release and Camp Hebron will not include
images of those persons in media. Users may request that a picture be
removed from the web by contacting the webmaster as noted above. Parents
hold this right for their children.
Information Security
Camp Hebron
will keep confidential information in a secure site.
What if I
ask to be removed from the mailing list or otherwise sever my relationship
with Camp Hebron? Confidential records will be treated in the fashion
noted above regardless of the status of the relationship with camp.
Camp Hebron reserves the
right to change or update this policy at any time by posting notice of the
change or update on this site.
