Join us for a wonderful weekend of bird watching and other shore activities in beautiful Cape May, New Jersey. Participants provide their own transportation to Cape May where we begin on Friday night with a get-acquainted session at our weekend headquarters, the Camelot Motel. September is prime migration time for warblers, hawks, butterflies, dragon flies and other winged creatures, and coupled with sea and shore bird viewing, it makes for a great bird watching weekend. A Sunday sunrise worship service at the beach is a traditional highlight of the weekend. |
| |
Novice and experienced bird watchers will feel at home as excellent leaders Rick Stevick and Erik Lindquist help all to fully enjoy a meaningful birding experience. We also encourage non-birders to come this weekend and enjoy Cape May which is rich in beauty, history, and varied activities including Victorian architecture, whale watch cruises, fine restaurants, shopping, bicycling, and more. |
| |
The Camelot Motel features efficiency rooms complete with kitchenette. Rooms hold up to six people. participants take care of their own meals with a variety of restaurants easily accessible from the motel. |
