Baked oatmeal is another favorite of Camper and Retreat Guests staying with us at Camp Hebron. This power breakfast is not only delicious but nutritious. Camp Hebron's baked oatmeal is filled with fiber that is especially beneficial for your heart and gives you a great energy boost for the day; especially for that hike up Peter's Mountain or breakfast canoe trip.
Take a piece of camp with you and try your hand at making it at home. Be sure to let us know how it turns out.
1 cup oil
2 1/4 cup sugar
6 3/4 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 T baking powder
2 1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups milk
Add all ingredients together and mix well. Pour batter in a greased 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
