Meet the Speaker

Briggs.jpg

I am blessed to be the pastor of a great and Godly church: David’s Community Bible Church, the husband of the most beautiful and talented woman in the world: Tammy, and father of 3 of the best and most amazing kids: Gabrielle, Benjamin, and Emily. But most of all I am blessed to know and serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who loved me so much He died to forgive me of all my sins, and rose to give me new life in Him.

My greatest passion is to preach and teach the Word of God, equip God’s people for service and reach the lost for Jesus Christ. During my spare time I’m currently working on my Doctorate of Ministry at Westminster Theological Seminary. My interests include reading, spending time with the family, & watching/playing sports.

Meet the Worship Leader

Music has always touched my heart.  At age 14 my parents gave me my first guitar.  In the summer of 1969, I led music at Camp Hebron while serving in Voluntary Service.  For over 40 years I have shared music in weddings, retreats, special events and my home church, Slate Hill Mennonite.  Connecting people with God through music is my passion.

Special Entertainment

Jeremy Goodling has been traveling and singing throughout Central PA in various bible believing denominational and non-denominational churches for over 25 years. He sings a variety of styled music including Southern Gospel, Hymns and light contemporary with a mix of songs that will relate and minister to all ages. He also performs at various centers, community events and banquets as well spreading the good news of Jesus. Jeremy enjoys using his wide vocal range by always including a few lower range bass songs in his concerts along with his mid range selections.

Jeremy and his wife Tabitha have been married 14 years and share four daughters. They reside in McAlisterville, PA and are active members at Niemond's Independent Church of Richfield, PA.
