Meet the Speaker

Dave Weiss

Dave Weiss has been an artist his whole life, but his journey to ministry was interesting to say the least. At the age of 22, Dave found himself in a church for the same reason every guy who has no interest in church ends up in church, a girl invited him. Before long, the Lord got through to him and he came to Christ, still ministry didn't seem to be even a remote possibility because he was terrified to speak in public. In the last four years, Dave has ministered in nearly 150 churches and camps in 14 states. When asked how he experienced such a radical transition, Dave says, "It all happened because of two things. Someone cared enough to introduce me to Jesus Christ, and a pastor showed me how I could use my gift to serve the Lord." Today Dave's passion is to help people to come to know Jesus and to challenge believers to use their gifts to serve the Lord, using his gift of art, storytelling, video and preaching the Word of God. That girl who invited Dave to church is his wife of 28 years, Dawn. Together they have two sons, and in July 2015, became grandparents for the first time. Dave resides in Mohrsville, PA and in addition to his speaking ministry, he serves as pastor of Springfield Church of the Brethren in Coopersburg, PA.

Sweet Life

Meet the Worship Leaders

SweetLife is comprised of married best-friends, Matt & Carol Frigm. They've been entertaining and touching lives with a guitar and two voices for over 25 years.
Since the late 1980s, their music has carried audiences through laughter and tears, telling stories and moving them closer to the ones they love.  Carol’s voice calls the listener back to the days of Karen Carpenter and Patsy Cline, while Matt’s guitar provides a musical foundation built on layers of country, folk, and jazz.  Smooth, sparkling harmonies mix with powerful emotion to breathe new life into modern hits, traditional standards, hymns, and their own heart-warming songs celebrating real life and real love.
"Our love started in music," Matt says, "We've played together as friends since 1988 and as husband/wife since 1993. Sometimes it was hard and it looked like we wouldn't make it, but we weren't quitting.  As we revealed ourselves to God and each other, He healed us and brought us into the SweetLife; hence the name. And we’re still best friends after all these years."  Carol agrees, "Music's a huge part of our marriage, and that relationship is the foundation for our songs.“

With four CD recordings & 500 song credits (one award-winning) between them, they're still writing their own love story and creating “snapshots” of important events.  Their song, “This Day” was played during their daughter’s wedding in 2011, and granddaughter Haley started hearing their lullaby “Angel Mine” even before her birth in 2013.

Their latest CD release "ONE SUNDAY MORNING" welcomes everyone to a lively, vibrant church service, then sends us out singing.  It features songs inspired by the many life-changing times spent with friends on Sunday mornings.
They serve on the board and regularly lead worship at New Path Community Church in Mt. Joy, PA.
