Meet the Speaker

Brian Martin

Brian & Shirley Martin have learned much from their own bumps in marriage and the unknowns when facing postpartum depression and pancreatic cancer. In a world deeply confused in matters of marriage and family, their heart is to convey God's creative heart and foster perseverance, hope, and faith..no matter what.

Brian and Shirley are married since 1984, they are the parents of four married children and enjoy the company of their five grandchildren. Brian has been the lead pastor at Weaverland Mennonite since 2005, and is originally from New Holland, PA. Learn more about Pastor Brian or watch some of his messages here

Topic Title: Family Trail Mix for Life’s Adventure”

Description: Walking the trail of life as a family can be complicated, conflicting, and beautiful…all at the same time. Throughout the week we will explore lasting trail-mix recipes to strengthen marriage and family, to deepen our faith in God, and to foster perseverance for the journey.

Key Verse: For I will pour water on the thirsty ground, and send streams coursing through the parched earth. I will pour my Spirit into your descendants and my blessing on your children. They shall sprout like grass on the prairie, like willows alongside the creek.
Isaiah 44:3-4, The Message
