Ducky Derby

Imagine 2,000 ducks clamoring for position on Powell's Creek. It will happen again on August 20th when the Second Annual Ducky Derby and Family Festival takes place at Camp Hebron. The Ducky Derby was designed to give families a fun day together as well as create a wonderful way to support the ministry of Camp Hebron. Enjoy a day filled with family fun and all of the traditional Camp Hebron activities. See schedule.

Buy your duck today! Six different safari souvenir ducks are available with your duck purchase. Collect all six. Fill out the registration form and mail it in with your check or register on line to purchase duck number(s) and/or register for the Sand Volleyball Tournament or Chicken BBQ.

You can partner with camp as a Ducky Derby Sponsor. In appreciation for your Ducky Derby sponsorship, camp will gladly promote your business. There are several different sponsorship levels with a variety of promotional benefits. For more information, read the attached sponsorship letter.

Sand Volleyball Tournament

Double elimination tournament with multiple divisions available: Competitive Men's, Women's, Co-Ed Divisions as well as a Recreational Division. Number of guaranteed games will be determined by the number of teams in each division.

Competitive Divisions (Men's, Women's, & Co-Ed) teams will consist of 2 players, (16 years and older). Recreational Division teams will have a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 6 players, (12 years or older).

Tournament begins at 8:00 a.m.

Cost will be $30 per team. You may register for more than one division but you will need to fill out a registration form for each division.

Registration deadline is August 15. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division.

Activities and Games

There will be a variety of family activities. Come enjoy a game of Gold Rush or compete in our new Family Safari Scavenger Hunt. Bring your children, grandchildren, and neighbors and have fun while building relationships and memories. Don't forget your camera!

Chicken BBQ

Round out your day with a delicious BBQ Chicken dinner at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available for:
Adults (13 years and up): $9.50 each
Children (4-12 years): $4.75 each
Children under 4 eat for free
