Association Membership
 |
The Camp Hebron Association was established in 1957 as a nonprofit corporation with a mission to reach urban youth for Christ. The ministry has grown and now encompasses over 300 acres and more than 50 buildings. Its many programs bless thousands of guests each year. |
 |
The camp's roots are in the Mennonite Church. In 1998, membership in the Association was expanded to include people from the broader Christian community who love Camp Hebron's ministry and are willing to support its purpose statement. (To continue the Anabaptist heritage of Camp Hebron, elected board members continue to be restricted to those who embrace the Mennonite Confession of Faith.)
The Association serves as the backbone for the ministry of Camp Hebron and consists of over 600 individuals who have committed to support camp in a variety of ways including time, finances and prayer. Membership is open to all persons who are in agreement with the purpose and mission of Camp Hebron and are willing to commit to support the Camp and its programs. The Association meets annually to elect officers, review financial statements, hear how God is working through the programs, encourage the staff, and fellowship with other members. This generally is combined with a fund raising dinner in the Lancaster County area.
Two membership options are available:
- Annual Membership
- Individuals may join for a fee of $50 per year.
- Couples may join for $75 a year. Both spouses have voting rights in the Association.
- Family memberships are available for $100 per year. Family membership gives both spouses full voting rights and children under 18 nonvoting benefits.
- Lifetime Membership
Individuals may join for life by paying a one time fee of $1,000.

Annual Association Dinner
An Association Dinner is held each fall to conduct Association business (elect board members, hear treasurer's report, etc.) and update members on what is happening at camp. Members are invited and encouraged to bring friends to introduce them to the ministry of Camp Hebron. A free will offering is taken to support the ministry. This year's dinner was held on October 4, 2007 at Mount Joy Mennonite Church celebrating our Fiftieth Anniversary.
